I'm Marisol Vega, a private chef in Fargo. I cook Upper Midwest ingredients with a Northern Mexican hand — walleye from the Red River, bison from a ranch outside Casselton, chokecherries I pick myself in August. Nine years on the line in Minneapolis before I came home to cook in people's own kitchens, where the food is better and nobody rushes you. I do the shopping, the cooking, the serving, and every dish in your sink before I go.
